Terms of use

These rules apply to Rate My Awesomeness (RMA), operated by Runbook. By accepting them in the app, you agree to these terms and the community and child-safety standards. Our privacy notice explains how information is handled.

Who can use RMA

RMA is intended for users aged 16 and over. Do not create or use an account if you are under 16, misrepresent your eligibility, or help another person evade an age restriction. We may require age assurance and restrict an account while eligibility is checked. These terms are not an age-verification mechanism.

Your photos and words

Only upload or share content you own or have permission to use. Obtain consent from people shown, particularly before publishing a photo or creating a roast about them. Do not share someone’s private information, intimate images or images used to humiliate them. You keep your rights in your content and permit RMA and its service providers to process, store and display it as needed for the features you choose.

AI verdicts are entertainment, may be wrong or inappropriate, and are not factual assessments or professional advice. Review a verdict before sharing it. Tone settings, including “No Mercy”, do not permit bullying, threats, discrimination or prohibited content.

Public Awards

Entering an Award is optional and publishes the selected image, caption, verdict and display name. Other users may rate or comment. You cannot rate your own entry. Do not buy, automate, trade or manipulate votes or comments. Monthly rankings are for recognition; RMA currently offers no cash, gift-card or transferable prize. You can withdraw an entry, subject to moderation and record-keeping needed to protect the competition.

Safety and moderation

Do not post illegal content, child sexual abuse or exploitation, sexual content, high-impact violence, encouragement of self-harm, hate, harassment, threats, impersonation, fraud or spam. Follow the detailed community standards. RMA may block a submission, remove content or restrict access in response to misuse or safety concerns. You can report content in the app and contact the RMA team to ask for a decision to be reviewed.

Testing, ads and paid features

RMA is currently an early-access service. Features may change or be unavailable while faults and release requirements are addressed. Paid subscriptions and revenue ads are not enabled. Where optional rewarded ads are introduced, the app must describe the reward before you choose to watch. Cancelling an ad must not remove content you already created. The first creation for each image is intended to remain ad free.

Your rights and contact

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under Australian Consumer Law. Contact deskrunbook@gmail.com for support, a complaint or a review of a moderation decision. You can request account and data deletion without accepting new terms.
